Less than half a day’s drive south of Carnarvon you will find Monkey Mia and Shark Bay. Since the early 1960’s the wild dolphins have been visiting the shores of Monkey Mia. These days you have the opportunity to see them in the dolphin interaction area and if you are lucky enough to be chosen from the crowd, you can feed them during the morning feeding sessions held each day. On average, seven dolphins visit the beach of Monkey Mia each day.
If you discover Shark Bay by boat, be sure to look out for some of the 6,000 marine turtles living in the waters.
Alternatively, if you rise early and wander the short distance from the Coral Coast Tourist Park to the Fascine waterway you might be lucky enough to see a dolphin or dugong in the wild.
The Blow Holes and surrounding beaches are the southern end of the Ningaloo Reef. Explore turtles and so much more .........
Reserve your stay at our sanctuary in Carnarvon with ease and confidence.
